About Divisions of Family Practice
The South Okanagan Similkameen Division of Family Practice (SOS DoFP) is a physician member-driven non-profit organization that engages and supports primary care physicians to enhance comprehensive patient care in the region. The SOS DoFP is a part of the BC Divisions of Family Practice initiative, funded by a joint committee of the BC Ministry of Health and Doctors of BC. Throughout BC there are 34 divisions of family practice encompassing over 220 communities that work collaboratively with partners to enhance local patient care and improve professional satisfactions for physicians www.divisionsbc.ca .
